Yep, named after our friends THE JUNK GYPSIES who have set up camp down the road. Also, named in memory of our dear friend Troy Glasco, who showed us how to serve and love well. A mix of apples, peaches, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries with a sour cream sugar topping.
All of our pies come to you fully cooked so they are all heat to serve.
If frozen, let thaw completely & reheat in oven (we recommend 275 F, EVERY OVEN IS DIFFERENT) for about 20-30 mins or until warm throughout.
While we recommend the pies heated up with a scoop of ice cream on top they can be served room temp if you prefer :) however we don’t recommend that for savory pies (chicken margherita, chicken pot pie, veggie, & hee-haw)
You also have the option to slice up the pie & pop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds
Fruit pies (blueberry lemon, apple, cherry, & strawberry rhubarb) should be kept in the refrigerator until heated for up to 2 weeks & dense pies (sweet ‘n salty, bud’s chocolate chip, texas trash, peanut butter white texas trash) can be left out on the counter for about 4 days with no problem, they can also be frozen for up to 6 months. Pecan, buttermilk, buttermilk delight we recommend being kept refrigerated until time to eat.
However you decide we truly hope you enjoy!!
